I want to revisit the topic of living with your Soul On Fire.
What was our starting point? It was looking in the mirror and believing: I’m significant and once I understand that, I know what I can do as one person. I have seen this with thousands and thousands of people in my organization as I built a network business, meeting them one at a time, speaking truth into their lives, encouraging them to set their soul on fire, and helping them to “get” it. Those of you who have heard me speak on the road, I talk about “you’ve got to get it.” Once you get the business of networking, once you get it, the passion oozes out of you. People run to you because you get it. You get the whole story. And that’s what we have—the gift that we have to go out to give them.
For today’s Action Step, I want you to write out a list of family and friends that you want to share the gift of freedom with. Then set a date to share it with each of them. A lot of you have a lot of people right now that you still haven’t sat down with and said, “I need to have you understand what I’m doing. I don’t care if you get involved in this networking business with me, but you need to understand what we’re doing and the difference we’re making in this country. You need to understand the significance of what the company as a whole is doing and what we’re doing in the lives of other people. And if you will grasp that and understand that, then I think you’re going to have some real interest in what I’m doing.”
Don’t just talk to people about your business. Sit down with them and let them know how important it is to you. Just spend an hour together and let them know what you’re doing. The ones that will want to join you will and the ones that won’t, won’t. The right ones will get in and the ones that aren’t the right ones won’t get in.
Like I said earlier, if you’re significant in someone’s life for thirty-five to forty minutes and you walk away–even if they don’t sign up to join this venture, they’re never the same. They’ll never be the same. That’s why I love making these appointments. That’s why I love sharing my business; because I always know I’m speaking the truth. And I know that in that truth, in what I have to share, I know that those people, without a doubt, will be different people and would think differently and be challenged differently than they ever had been before, and all because I was willing to spend that time with them.
Go do your action step and then please tell me how your meetings went! I want to hear from you.
Have a blessed day!
